One of the best books for understanding the power of mind and manifestation is Dr. Joe Dispenza’s “Becoming Supernatural”.
I thought I picked out a manifestation book but little did I know that the book would have so much information about meditation, the seven chakras, bandhas (locks), and Kundalini. Wow!
Now, these are all the concepts that I studied and discussed at length during my Yoga teacher training in India, but I have never read a book that presents these concepts from a manifestation as well as a scientific perspective.
The book Becoming Supernatural discusses several different meditation techniques. One technique involves blessing the energy centers, another involves exploring possibilities in the quantum field, and another involves raising the kundalini. (Honestly, raising the kundalini is a complicated topic that can’t be explained and taught in a book. It should only be taught in person by an experienced teacher.)
Out of all these meditations, the one that interested me the most was about finding endless possibilities in the quantum field.
These single meditations are so expensive to buy on his website – minimum USD 35 per meditation, so I decided to use my meditation skills (as a Yoga teacher) and the description in the book, to create a 20-minute version of it which you can do at home.
Honestly, he talks about not restricting the meditation to any time limit and he mentioned in his book that it can also be for up to 2 hours. I have one of his meditations on audibles and it is for more than 2 hours. Wow!
But I do know that some of us don’t have 2 hours to meditate. If you’d like to start small and try one of his meditations, have a look at my 20-minute version that’s based on Joe Dispenza’s meditation for manifestation as mentioned in Becoming Supernatural.
Position for Dr. Joe Dispenza’s Meditation for Manifestation
Now this isn’t a meditation that you should do lying down. Sit up, and find a position in which your spine is straight. A position where you can stay for a while without twitching.
Typically I cross my legs in Sukhasana but for this particular meditation, I sit on a chair or couch where my back is supported and straight. My feet touch the ground.
When to do Dr. Joe Dispenza’s Meditation for Manifestation
As someone who meditates almost every day, this isn’t the kind of meditation that I’d do right before sleeping. Instead, it is perfect for the morning or afternoon. The latest in the day that I would ever do is early evening.
Closing Thoughts
If you’re new to meditation, be kind to yourself. Give yourself time. The idea is to stay present, and relaxed and to not sleep off. Try to find a “sweet spot” that’s right before sleeping, sometimes like lucid dreaming.
If your mind wanders, it’s ok. Notice and mentally bring it back to the present moment. The eternal now.
